Spencer Ivy
Spencer Ivy bikes are designed with a traditional style and high quality parts. They have crank mounted motors and three levels of assist which adds to your efforts according to the pressure you put on the cranks as destected by a torque detector.
The frames are made in Germany and the electronics are Japanese. The Spencer model (above) is fitted with a Brooks saddle and has 7 Shimano internal hub gears operated with a twist grip.
The gents frame is fitted with the same gears but with a trigger shift.
The bike has a range of around 50 miles - though an upgraded battery is available giving up to 80 miles.
Spencer Ivy bikes come with a 2 year guarantee. They also have built in lights, a rack, mudguards and chainguard making them very practical for use around town when wearing smart clothes.
